“I am the daughter of two residents. Mom lives on the memory care side. Dad lives on the independent side. They have been married for 64 years and their love story is like the movie “the Notebook.” They are inseparable. After my mother’s stroke, she developed vascular dementia. Besides the physical limitations, we were also dealing with her memory loss. Dad, now 88, tried desperately to keep her home and take care of her but it was too difficult. It was taking its toll on me as well. We moved Mom to a facility that was not capable of offering the care we needed or Dad’s need to be near her. Then we toured your community and fell in love with the concept, staff and to make it more perfect - you understood the need for my parents not to be separated. Dad could get an apartment near the memory care so he could have access to Mom whenever he needed. We adopted the staff as part of our own family, and I feel very comfortable leaving my loved ones in their care. Like you're always saying: ”it is all about the residents and what is best for them.” You have made a beautiful, loving environment and we are constantly creating lovely new memories, many laughs and lots of hugs.”

The whole staff, including the director as well as the owners, were there to cook and serve us. The staff is caring and loving. "Just like family."
